Pale Tasker Caterpillar

These shots of a Pale Tasker caterpillar were taken at 10 Acre Wood, Margam in October 2011 using a Sony a290 DSLR fitted with a 55 - 200mm telephoto zoom lens set at 200mm, f stop at f10, shutter speed at 1/160 sec and ISO 100.
It was the highlight of the day apart from a few fungi.

This is another photograph taken on a trip to Margam Park on 30th October 2011.
Using the Sony a290 camera fitted with an 18 to 55mm zoom lens and polarizing filter set to an ISO of 200 and focal length 55mm. Shutter speed was 1/60 second at f11. Further photographs taken on the same day as this one will appear on this blog in due course.

Swansea Bay and Mumbles Pier

A view accross Swansea Bay taken from Mumbles looking towards Swansea.
The tide was just on the turn so the slipway and break were exposed.

Mumbles Pier is still undergoing repairs and is closed to the public but still makes for a scenic shot.

Whilst on a walk around Parc Slip Nature Reserve in July 2011, I took a few shots of wild flowers and have selected these two to share with you. The shot above was taken using a 55 - 200mm telephoto zoom lens set at 200mm and an f stop of f10. Exposure time was 1/60 second at an ISO of 100.

The photograph below was again taken using the 55 - 200mm telephoto zoom lens set at 200mm but this time with an f stop of f11. Exposure time was again 1/60 second at an ISO of 100.
These are just two from many flower photographs that I have in my portfolio and I will be sharing more of them on this blog over time.
